By creating an account or using Hyloric, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Hyloric provides an AI-assisted hardware project management platform. AI agents generate recommendations, documents, schematics, BOMs, and other engineering artifacts to assist users in managing hardware development projects.

3. User Responsibility for Projects

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated outputs, including schematics, BOMs, firmware code, compliance recommendations, and any other engineering documents.
• You must verify that all designs meet applicable safety, regulatory, and technical standards before implementation or production.
• Hyloric provides tools to assist your engineering process — it does not replace the judgment of a qualified human engineer.
• Any hardware built based on content generated by the platform is your sole responsibility. You assume all risks associated with the design, manufacture, and use of such hardware.
• For safety-critical applications (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, industrial control systems, etc.), you must engage qualified licensed engineers to review and certify all designs independently of this platform.

4. No Liability for Design Errors

Hyloric, its owners, employees, and AI providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated designs, schematics, BOMs, or documents.
• Hardware failures, malfunctions, or defects resulting from following platform recommendations.
• Financial losses, production delays, or compliance failures related to project outputs.
• Any third-party claims arising from hardware designed using this platform.

5. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

• Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact billing@hyloric.com.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of all project data and content you upload.
• AI-generated outputs created from your inputs belong to you.
• The Hyloric platform, brand, and underlying technology remain our property.

8. Prohibited Use

You may not use Hyloric to:

• Design weapons, illegal devices, or hardware intended to cause harm.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform.
• Share your account access with others.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your profile settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
